As part of our #WeLoveLocal campaign, sponsored by Baird Private Wealth Management, I had the pleasure of making the drive to Meade County for the first time since moving to Kentucky. I had no idea what Stull's Country Store was all about, but I was excited to check it out. After driving through the beautiful countryside, I finally arrived at this iconic little store in the middle of nowhere. When I first pulled up, it was like I was transported in time. There were 80s' style gas pumps with someone pumping their gas out front. The old-fashioned store has been open since 1972 and offers a wide variety of products for their customers. I absolutely loved the small-town feel as soon as I walked through the door. I grew up in a small Northern Michigan town with a population of around 500, so Payneville felt like home right away.

The staff and the owner walked me through the history of the store as I browsed the shelves. I learned so much about the town of Andyville and about the store itself. It was quite an adventure, and I can't wait to go back with family and friends.
