‘American Idol’ is revamping its judging panel, having hired Mariah Carey this week. While season one winner Kelly Clarkson feels season four winner Carrie Underwood would be a great judge, execs at Fox are also thinking country, but have a totally different superstar targeted for a spot and it’s none other than Brad Paisley.

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest says it will be one of the closest finales in Idol history.  Jessica Sanchez versus Phillip Phillips!  And last night, both contestants laid it all out on the line for your votes.  So, who won the night?  Who SHOULD win the title of American Idol?
