Blackford Creek

Holder played in support of another Kentucky native, singer Dillon Carmichael. Dillon is the nephew of two country stars, John Michael and Eddie Montgomery. The Bluegrass State was being well-represented.

Blackford Creek will be performing at O'Bryans Bar & Grill Saturday night and the community is invited to come out and support one of our own.

Last night was the finale of WBKR's Friday Night Fight at Diamond Lake Good Time Theatre.  Eight acts took the stage to compete is a series of "fights".  At the end of the show, there were just two acts left: Blackford Creek from Owensboro and Payton Taylor from Hendersonville, Tennessee.  Here's the moment the winners were announced.

The lineup is set for the finals of our brand new talent contest, WBKR's Friday Night Fight.  We have teamed up with Friday After 5 and Gordy's Owensboro Music to give one lucky performer or group the chance to open for LOCASH in downtown Owensboro on Friday, August 24th.  Eight acts have qualified for our finale, which will be held 7pm Saturday, August 4th at Diamond Lake Campground and Resort. 

Great Racing, Nascar Legend Kenny Wallace, Live Music from Blackford Creek and more! It all happens this weekend at Cedar Ridge Speedway.

We should always give thanks and honor the men and women in uniform that serve and have served and fought for our freedoms. There's one special day planned in Owensboro to benefit "Honor Flight" and we can do just that!

Guys, we are less than a month away from Country Con! Saturday, September 12th 10am-7pm at the Owensboro Convention Center, over 50 acts will be performing on the Moore Music Main Stage and the Moore Music Country Con Corral. One of those acts just happens to be the winners of the 2013 Battle for the Big O, Blackford Creek!

The 2013 Battle for The Big O is in the books and Saturday night's finale featured twelve incredibly talented acts battling for $1,000 and the right to open the 2013 Bath Fitter Big O Music Festival.  Watch as we reveal our 3rd place winners, our runners-up and the grand champion.  This is exciting!!

Friday night's auditions at Hawg N Sauce in Mount Vernon, Indiana were amazing!  We passed an astounding FIVE acts through to the Battle for The Big O finale coming up Saturday, August 24th.  One of them . . . Blackford Creek, who took the stage and sang "Copperhead Road."  This is flippin' awesome.  WATCH!
