Thursday night is Desserts First: Celebrating 100 years of serving girls. This event is a Girls Scouts, big ole delicious, cookie dessert extravaganza evening!

The Girl Scouts turned 100 this year. Founded by Juliette Gordon Low originally for the girls of Savannah,  GA.,  today there are scouts all over the world.  They started selling the cookies in 1917, today over 200 million boxes are sold each year. The Parade article made me wonder if there were Country singers who had been girl scouts.

Y'all know I'm all about anything yummy....well, here we go! Thursday, April 14th at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline is Desserts First: The Sweetest Event of 2011!! The Cookie Dessert Extravaganza will take place from 5:30-8:00pm. Gourmet desserts will be made from Girl Scout cookies (Yummy...
