Thursday night is Desserts First: Celebrating 100 years of serving girls.
This event is a Girls Scouts, big ole delicious, cookie dessert extravaganza evening!
The Girl Scouts turned 100 this year. Founded by Juliette Gordon Low originally for the girls of Savannah, GA., today there are scouts all over the world. They started selling the cookies in 1917, today over 200 million boxes are sold each year. The Parade article made me wonder if there were Country singers who had been girl scouts.
