We are just a couple of weeks away from the grand opening of the all-new Smothers Park in downtown Owensboro.  Renovation and redesign of this park is a centerpiece of the efforts to revitalize the Owensboro riverfront and it will be officially unveilved August 23rd through the 25th!  But, thanks to Owensboro Parent, we have been given a SNEAK PEAK  into what the new park looks like and the featur

The public will get its first official look at part of the new Owensboro riverfront at Smothers Park as the park's grand opening will take place during Friday After 5 on August 24th with the Owensboro Air Show on Saturday, August 25th rounding out a huge weekend for the city.
