In December, Sorgho Elementary Cafeteria Manager, Heather Haynes, received the awesome news their school nutrition video was chosen from thousands to represent nationally in Washington D.C. Here's the latest news from Sorgho!

An honor flight took place this week from the Owensboro Sportscenter for local veterans. Eight WWII veterans are being honored during this flight.

Late Wednesday evening, OHS students loaded a bus headed to Washington D.C.  The opportunity to attend the newly elected presidents' inauguration was presented to students at the beginning of the year and several students quickly took advantage and signed up.
