Thai Food Owensboro is a Delicious Hidden Gem You Need to Try
Last Saturday, my husband and I decided to go out to eat for Valentine's Day. Most of the time, we have the age-old, "Where do you wanna go?" "I don't know, where do you wanna go?" conversation. This time, we were both immediately in agreement. Thai Food Owensboro.
Everyone has their "go-to" places. Especially when it is an occasion like Valentine's Day. Your favorite spots that ALWAYS hit. Thai Food Owensboro is one of those restaurants for us. So much so that when our son Rollins found out where we were going for dinner, he had some serious FOMO.
We were just happy our 11-year-old wanted to hang out with us, so of course, he tagged along on our date. It was a little busier than normal because of the holiday, but their server (I am kicking myself for forgetting his name) is a hustler. He took care of that whole room and juggled reservation tables like a pro.
Sitting at our table with the cute little yellow daisy, we looked through the menu. We have things we always order, but we like to try something new when we go. For appetizers, we LOVE the Samosas (potato filling with spices), but this time we also got some egg rolls packed with cabbage.
The fried pastries were served with a chili oil sauce for dipping. Both were SO GOOD. Crispy with soft and savory goodness on the inside.
For entrees, Rollins got the Beef Ramen dish. At one point, I had to tell him to stop and mind his manners because he went to TOWN. As you can tell, he was very excited.
I love the Chicken Pad Thai, and Michael got a fried rice dish. He usually orders the Beef Krapow, which is FANTASTIC. It comes with veggies and rice. Here's my Pad Thai with my child in the background shoveling noodles into his mouth.

I will warn you, be cautious of the spice level if you are not used to food with heat. They do not play around! I've gotten a Level 2 before and was literally sweating while I was eating. It was gooooood though! Now, I am more than happy with my little Level 1 noodles.
While Thai Food Owensboro has plenty of fans, every time we go, I never see it as full as I wish it were. I'm so thankful not just for the delicious dinners we have had there, but also for the diverse culinary options they offer to the community. If the thought of ordering something hard to pronounce is intimidating, your server will graciously answer any questions you have.
Heck, shoot me a message, and I will help you decide what to order. In my experience, you can't go wrong. Thai Food Owensboro is located in the shopping center with Donato's and 1885 Cocktail Bar at 2601 W Parrish Ave. They offer carry-out and are also on DoorDash.
