The 2nd Best Waterpark in the Nation is Located in Indiana

One southern Indiana waterpark just landed very high on USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Travel Awards for the best outdoor water park in the nation.

From floating down the lazy river to chilling in the wave pools, the six massive water slides, and their three awesome water coasters, Splashin' Safari is a great time for everyone in the entire family. It's no secret to us here in the Evansville area how awesome Splashin' Safari is, and apparently, it's no secret to the rest of the country either. Once again, the water park in Santa Claus, Indiana has found itself in USA Today's 10 Best Readers' Choice Travel Awards for the best outdoor water park in the nation.

USA Today released the 10 Best Readers' Choice Travel Awards for the best outdoor water park in the nation today and Splashin' Safari landed on that list. In 2021, Splashin' Safari came in at number three on that list. Last year, Splashin' Safari fell further down the list at number six. However, in 2023, the Santa Claus, Indiana water park found itself at number two!

Here's what USA Today said about the southern Indiana water park:

It may be in Santa Claus, Indiana, but Splashin’ Safari’s about as far from the North Pole as you can get, offering myriad thrills to cool guests off in the summer heat. Families who thrill-ride together will revel catching actual air on Mammoth – a water coaster so massive that its seven-story bulk takes up more than three acres! Multiple drops employ cutting-edge technology, lifting up to six passengers to plunge again and again and again.

Ranking that high with all of the other water parks we have in the nation, is a tremendous honor. This isn't the first time that Splashin' Safari has made the USA Today's list. In fact, they have landed at the very top of the Best Outdoor Water Park in the Country list twice in the past. The list confirms what we here in the Tri-State already knew...that Splashin' Safari is AWESOME!

Of course, there were some that were negative because there are sad people who are perpetually angry on the internet and want everyone to know it for some reason, but we won't concern ourselves with those. We want to focus on the good, and when it comes to the good, there's plenty of it to enjoy.
