We've been cheering them on for two full seasons of CBS' "The Amazing Race." Last night it all came to an end as Gary and Mallory Ervin of Morganfield ran into trouble with a Miami cab driver who had no idea where to take them and finished in third place. We congratulate Team Morganfield for a terrific run and making it to the final leg. And we congratulate the victors, too. And what do you know? As it turns out, the Commonwealth was represented in the winners' circle after all.

Sisters Kisha and Jen Hoffman crossed the finish line to become only the second all female team to win "The Amazing Race." Younger sister Jen lives in Louisville while Kisha hails from The Bronx, New York. The second place team was one of the most entertaining in the history of the series--Harlem Globetrotters Herb "Flight Time" Lang and Nate "Big Easy" Lofton. This season of "The Amazing Race" was one of the best ever, and for the first time, I liked all the teams in the final three. Gary and Mallory once again made Morganfield proud. Hey, coming in third on a 40,000 mile race around the globe is something to be very proud of.
