Joe Nichols with Moon Mullins and Scott Woodson

I owned a radio station consulting firm for a number of years. One of our client stations was Beaver 105 located near Fayetteville, AR. Our overnight deejay was Joe Nichols, affectionately referred to as “Little” Joey Nichols. Pictured above with Joe Nichols and me is Scott Woodson. Scott worked at Beaver 105 at the ame time as Joe. This photo was taken at Joe's appearance at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa, where Scott and I worked at KVOO.  Joe was fired from Beaver 105 and tells the story to the guys at Kiss Country in Shreveport. It is about two minutes in.

On this date in 2002  Joe Nichols' debut album, "Man With A Memory"  was released. It produced one of Joe's biggest hits, "The Impossible".
