Local Lighting Business Shines Bright with National Award Win

Jimmy Kidd of Tranquility Lighting Design has been honored with the 2025 Award of Excellence in Feature-Focused Lighting for his exceptional work at VFW Post 696 in Owensboro, Kentucky.

After living in our home for many years, we decided it was time for a "glow up," something that would enhance our property at night and provide added security. After researching local lighting professionals, we were impressed by Jimmy Kidd’s portfolio with Tranquility Lighting Design LLC.

Recognized by the Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals, Jimmy’s design beautifully honors the space by shining a bright light on all who served with VFW Post 696. It's completely transformed the Owensboro Riverfront and perfectly pays tribute to the service and sacrifice represented by the VFW.
