Fill Up and Help Support the Family of Fallen KSP Trooper Hayden Phillips
Sometimes helping a family through an incredibly difficult time can be as simple as filling up your gas tank.
This Saturday, October 3, Take 10 Market (off Hwy 54) in Owensboro is giving our community a chance to do just that while honoring the life and service of fallen Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips.
All day Saturday, Take 10 Market will donate 50 cents from every gallon of gasoline sold to the Kentucky State Police Foundation. The money will go directly toward helping Trooper Phillips' family.

Whether you're running errands, taking the kids somewhere, heading to work, or need to fill up, you can make that stop mean a little more this weekend. It's a small way to show a family our community is standing beside them.
Take 10 Market says the fundraiser was coordinated with Kentucky State Police and received confirmation to move forward. KSP also provided the family-authorized memorial image being used for the effort. Local law enforcement has been made aware of the fundraiser, and representatives have been invited to stop by throughout the day if their schedules allow.
Trooper Phillips' funeral is scheduled for Sunday, October 4, at noon at Western Kentucky University's E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, following a public visitation on Saturday, October 3, at Living Hope Baptist Church.
The support surrounding a fallen officer reaches far beyond the badge. It reaches families, friends, fellow officers, and everyone who simply wants to say, "We're here. We haven't forgotten." That's what this fundraiser gives Owensboro and Daviess County the chance to do.
So stop by Take 10 Market this Saturday, October 3, fill up, and help support the family of Trooper Hayden Phillips.
Another Way to Help the Phillips Family
If you'd like to do more than fill up your tank Saturday, there is also an official way to make a direct donation to the family.
The Kentucky State Police Foundation is accepting donations to support Trooper Hayden Phillips' family. The Foundation says 100% of donations designated for the Phillips family will go directly to them and can help with meals, household bills, and other everyday expenses as they navigate this heartbreaking loss.
You can donate through the Kentucky State Police Foundation's official donation page.
If you'd prefer to mail a check, make it payable to the Kentucky State Police Foundation and include "Trp. Hayden Phillips" on the memo line.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Phillips family, the Kentucky State Police, his fellow officers, and everyone who loved Hayden. We hope this small act of kindness reminds them they are not facing this grief alone.
