Trunnell's Farm Market recently announced plans to wrap up summer with an amazing community outreach project.  It's called Fifty Bags for Fifty Families and, each day this week, Trunnell's is setting up mobile produce stands in a variety of locations around town to provide fresh produce to families who may not have the opportunity or means to buy it.  Today, they're kicking off the week at Chautauqua Park here in Owensboro.

Tuesday, August 27th: The former Thruston Playground on Hwy 144 (3pm-4pm)

Thursday, August 29th: Center Piece parking lot, behind Towne Square Mall (3pm-4pm)

Friday, August 30th: Kendall Perkins Park (1p-2p) and Cravens Pool Parking Lot (2:30-3:30pm)

At each location, Trunnell's will have fifty bags of fresh produce.  Each bag will feature a variety of farm fresh fruits and vegetables, plus dinner rolls from Texas Roadhouse.  Quantities are limited and will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
