Watch Tyler Childers’ Surprise Show at Dinosaur World in Cave City

As if I couldn't love Tyler Childers even more, he goes and does this. After releasing his new album, Snipe Hunter, on July 25th, he played a surprise show not even a week later at a very special venue.

On the evening of July 30th, five hundred lucky fans got to experience Tyler and The Food Stamps at one of the quirkiest attractions in all of Kentucky, Dinosaur World! He told the crowd that as a kid, every time he drove by the big T-Rex advertisement on the freeway, he would ask his mama if they could visit. Unfortunately, she always said "no."

Now that he calls the shots, Tyler has made his dream come true. Not only did he visit, but he also played a whole concert at Dinosaur World. On a stage, right in front of the giant dinosaur, as highway traffic zoomed by.

He made the most of it, too! He and the band went all in on the theme and dressed up as characters from Jurassic Park! Tyler even tossed dinosaur toys out into the crowd as a thank you to his fans.
