Over the weekend, there were some very concerned citizens on the southwestern side of Daviess County, Kentucky. Motorists were stopped along Hwy 81 trying to figure out what in the holy X-Files they were looking at it. There appeared to be an unidentified, flying object hovering above them and no one (well, almost no one) knew what it was. For a brief moment, it looked like a case for Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.

Now, the thought of aliens in Kentucky isn't new. There is a now legendary account that centers around an incident in Kelly, quite close to Hopkinsville, way back in 1955. It was August 21st of that year that Elmer 'Lucky' Sutton, his wife Vera, and their friend Billy Ray had a 'close encounter' with a flying saucer and a three-foot 'glowing' creature. That area of the state is now home to an annual event that commemorates that sighting. The event is the Kelly Little Green Men Days Festival.

Thankfully, there were no sightings of little green men in Daviess County over the weekend. There were only reports of what looked like a UFO. As it turns out, the object was very easily identified by Stuart Snow. He should know what it was because, well, he made it.

See, Stuart is a licensed professional fireworks and pyrotechnics expert. He was experimenting with some brand new special effects, particularly a gigantic fire and smoke ball. WATCH!
