UK fans will have many fond memories of the last time they played LSU.  They won!  The last time the two teams met, the then newly #1 ranked Tigers waltzed into Commonwealth Stadium expecting victory. Instead, they faced a scrappy Rich Brooks Wildcat team that shocked the nation with a 43-37 victory over the eventual National Champions in triple overtime.

Well, that was then, this is now.  As evidence by the overconfident picture above, the Tigers are expecting an easier contest today in Baton Rouge in the notorious "Death Valley", that sounds safe.  And the Cats are probably not as confident as they were four years ago.  The Cats are 2-2 overall with their first conference loss to Florida a week ago.  And did I mention Louisville took back the Governor's Cup? (Sorry, I had to be evil and throw that in), but in all fairness, UK would greatly benefit from a victory against the once again top ranked Tigers.

It will be tough, but the Cats, like the picture above, are scrappy.  We'll see what happens...
