Earlier during the week we had a nice little snowfall. And when I left work to clean off my car, here is what I saw:

I was incredibly bewildered by the snowfall pattern that ended up on my car, so I decided to see if I could figure it out. I decided to look under the hood, and interestingly enough, the frame under there has the same pattern. But the car was cold, hadn't been moved in 4-5 hours, so unless the frame was still warm, I can't come up with an explanation. My car has sat in roughly the same parking spot under the same conditions before and the entire hood has always been covered.

Very unusual to me. So if anyone out there has any ideas, myths, science, or anything else that might explain it, please share, and maybe one day we will figure it out!
