Upcoming Event Raises Money for Alzheimer’s Association

What a delicious way to to honor Healthcare Heroes and raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. Auntie Anne's Pretzel Truck will be at Cedarhurst of Owensboro on Thursday to do just that!

If you've been driving around the Pleasant Valley Rd area of Owensboro, you may have seen some construction going on. It's a new senior living community which includes personal and memory care.

Coming up on Thursday, January 14th, 2021 there will be a Healthcare Heroes Appreciation Event from 11AM to 4PM. Stop by the new facility, eat a pretzel, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer's Association.

"Cedarhurst of Owensboro offers a wide range of apartment choices for residents. Apartments include handicapped accessible bathrooms, a 24-hour emergency call system, individual climate controls, and expanded cable TV."

There will also be 27 memory care suites available.

"Cedarhurst of Owensboro’s Memory Care focuses on caring for the memory of each resident in addition to any and all needs they have. Apartments are designed and equipped for residents at varying stages of memory loss, and include handicapped accessible bathrooms, a 24-hour emergency call system, individual climate controls, and expanded cable TV."
