UPDATE: Wanted Subject Now In Custody [PHOTO]

The Owensboro Police Department recently released that on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at approximately 7:00 p.m. Antonio C. Douglas arrived at the station and turned himself into authorities.

Antonio C. Douglas, was wanted for the charge of Assault, 1st Degree in connection with a Werner Avenue shooting here in Owensboro.

On Sunday, January 22, 2017 at approximately 12:20 a.m. the Owensboro Police
Department responded to the 300 block of Hale Avenue in reference to a
shooting call. During the initial investigation, officers located the shooting victim, Victoria A. McFarland, 31, with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to her right arm.
Officers discovered that the shooting had occurred shortly before the 9-1-1 call
at a residence in the 1100 block of Werner Avenue.   McFarland was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital for treatment and officers have been looking for Douglas since.
