Veterans Resource Fair | Free Event for Local Heroes in Owensboro

We are proud to stand in support of the brave men and women who have served our country. As a way to give back, Audubon Area Community Services and AmeriCorps Seniors are once again coming together to host the Veterans Resource Fair Stand Down! This event is all about honoring our heroes and connecting them and their families with valuable resources.

It’s important to honor our area veterans, not just with words, but through action. Whether you attend a parade, spend time with a veteran, or take time to learn about their service and sacrifice, there are many ways we can connect with and support those who’ve served. This special event is a chance to show appreciation through a wide range of free resources, services, and community connections. Let’s come together to uplift our heroes and their families!

Veterans Resource Fair Stand Down

Audubon Area Community Services and AmeriCorps Seniors are teaming up once again to host our Veterans Resource Fair Stand Down, and we couldn’t be more excited! This event is all about giving back to those who’ve given so much. They’ll have a wide variety of vendors offering free resources focused on education, employment, health, finances, and more. Plus, there’ll be free haircuts, door prizes, and refreshments for all who attend.

Veterans Resource Fair Stand Down – Event Details

The Veterans Resource Fair Stand Down will take place on Thursday, October 2nd, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. It’s happening right here in our community and is completely FREE for all active duty, veterans, retired military, National Guard, Reservists, and military families. Come out, stop by the Honor and Remember Booth, and spend the day honoring and supporting our local heroes.
