Vintage UK/UL WBKR Battle of the Bluegrass Print For Sale

This totally predates my time here at WBKR, but I just have to share.  My friend Lana Church posted a photo this weekend on the Buy My Stuff in Owensboro Facebook.  It's a retro WBKR print promoting the UK/UL Battle of the Bluegrass. Check it out!

That's pretty cool.  Lana says her husband has had this print for years.  In fact, the date on the print says 1984.  We're thinking that this print celebrated the UK/UL game on March 22nd, 1984  . . . when the Cats and Cards squared off in Rupp Arena in the Midwest Regional semifinals of the NCAA Tournament. There, the Cats defeated Louisville 72-67.  In the next round, the Cats defeated Illinois 54-51 to make it to the Final Four, where they lost to eventual NCAA champion Georgetown.
