Vintage WBKR [AUDIO]

Hi this is Steve Horn, I grew up listening to WBKR as a kid and loved it then as still love it just as much today! I've been an employee here at WBKR since 1989. Here's a little history about 92.5 FM WBKR  that you may or may not have known about? WBKR has been on the air since 1948, cranks out 100,000 watts of power; covering 4 states and over 200 counties, been helping families in need in the tri-state since 1976 with our WBKR Christmas Wish Program, covering NASCAR races for many many years. WBKR's Garth-A-Thon in the 90's brought us local &  national attention and it did the trick to bring Garth Brooks to concert in Evansville. WBKR has been featured on the Jay Leno Show, been nominated many times for the CMA Small Market Station Of The Year...Been online at wbkr.com since 1996, always have and always will be there to make sure you and your family stays safe during severe weather, ice storms etc.  And you will always hear us broadcasting from events to help out someone or just broadcasting from great places or businesses in the tri-state, either here in our hometown of Owensboro or as far as down South in Nashville. Thank you so much for listening to 92.5 WBKR!!!
