Ibotta Customers Can Get a Free Thanksgiving Meal
So here I was, JUST recently saying that we don't have macaroni and cheese at my family's Thanksgiving dinner, when, lo and behold, my nephew makes a fibber out of me and announces he will be making his sharp cheddar/parmesan mac and cheese.
So, uh, yeah, scratch that first part.
Listen, enthusiasm is always way up there in my family for the big Thanksgiving Day meal. I assume it is everywhere, even in a COVID-ravaged, cash-strapped year like 2020.
But that's just it. It HAS been a cash-strapped year and while many folks are looking forward to the Thanksgiving table, they must be wondering if they'll be able to get all they'll need.
Well, here comes Walmart and Ibotta riding in on white horses to save the day with an offer of FREE Thanksgiving dinner.
Ibotta is the app that helps you earn cash back on in-store and online purchases via a partnership with more than 1,500 brands and retailers.
The items you'd be able to get for free through the Walmart/Ibotta partnership are pre-selected, so you don't have to worry about the menu. Just bring an appetite.
We're talking a Butterball Turkey, Idahoan Mashed Potatoes, Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup, French's Crispy Fried Onions, Great Value Green Beans (YES, green bean casserole), McCormick Turkey Gravy, Great Value Stuffing Mix, Great Value Cranberry Sauce, and a 2-liter bottle of Coca-Cola.
Just download the Ibotta app, select Walmart and add all of those items to your list, or you can link your Walmart Pickup and Delivery account. For full instructions on how to get your free Thanksgiving dinner, click here.
And, by all means, happy Thanksgiving.
And, THANK YOU, Walmart and Ibotta.
