WBKR Celebrates Another Incredible Group of Nurse Nominees

Nurses are there for some of life’s biggest moments. They care for us when we’re hurting, comfort families during difficult times, and somehow still manage to bring kindness and compassion into every shift. Throughout National Nurses Month, WBKR and The Mobile RN are proud to recognize the incredible nurses nominated by our listeners across the community.

Another Round of Incredible Nurse Nominees

Over the past several weeks, listeners have continued sending in heartfelt nominations for nurses who have made a lasting impact on their lives. The stories have come from patients, coworkers, friends, and family members, all sharing why these nurses deserve to be celebrated.

From going the extra mile for patients to offering support during emotional moments, every nomination highlights the dedication and heart nurses bring to their work each day.

As a reminder, EVERY nurse who was nominated will appear in one of our weekly galleries throughout the month.

More Nurse Spotlights Still to Come

WBKR’s National Nurses Month recognition continues through May with more nurse galleries still ahead. Each week, we’re sharing another group of deserving nominees and recognizing the difference they make across the community every single day.

One nurse from each weekly gallery will also be randomly selected to receive a special self-care package, but this month-long spotlight is about much more than prizes. It’s about celebrating every nurse who was nominated and thanking them for the care, compassion, and support they provide to so many people.
