WBKR’s Zombie Run is Coming! Save the Date! [Video]

This is going to fun, hilarious and scary all at the same time.  WBKR is taking over Owensboro's Pumpkinfest, which is coming up Friday, Sept 21st and Saturday, Sept 22nd at the Owensboro Sportscenter and Moreland Park.  And, we're adding some really cool new events.  The first we want to tell you about is Owensboro's first-ever ZOMBIE RUN.  It's WBKR's The Run for Your Life!  And it's not your traditional 5K race.  Nope!  It's gonna look something like this . . .

LOL!  Yes, in this event, our runners will not be timed.  At the starting line, they'll be given two flags to wear.  One for the left hip, one for the right.  The goal is to get to the finish line with those flags still intact.  But it won't be easy!  You'll be chased by zombies along the course!

WBKR's The Run for Your Life takes place IN THE DARK at 10pm, Friday, Sept 21st.  It's going to be a blast and registrations begin later this week here at WBKR.com and at our WBKR studios.
