Ellis Park will be hosting a brand new Pumpkinfest for kids this year for Fall!

Exciting news for the folks who participated in WBKR's 'The Run for Your Life' Zombie Run during Pumpkinfest!  Zombie t-shirts are READY for pick-up.  If you were a ZOMBIE in the race or you registered as a runner after entries were closed online, your shirts are NOW available at the WBKR studios at 3301 Frederica Street...

I love a challenge.  And Saturday at Pumpkinfest I got a big one from young Cameron Casey.  He challenged me to a duel inside the Incredible Inflatables joust and bet me a slab of pralines and cream fudge!  Needless to say . . . it was on.  WATCH!  This kid had no clue he was up against CHAD MAX BEYOND THUNDERDOME!

We had a ball over the weekend hosting Pumpkinfest, which included WBKR's "The Run for Your Life" Zombie Run, The Pumpkin Princess Pageant and more.  On Saturday, Kizzy joined us for some fun and hitched a ride on the Lil' Smiling Choo Choo, which took guests on a scenic ride through Moreland Park.  Kizzy's ride was scenic too . . . but a little noisier than the rest of the rides.  Watch

WBKR's Pumpkinfest is nearly here!  And, if you drive by the Owensboro Sportscenter/Moreland Park area you are going to get a sneak preview of our carnival!  Great American Shows is in town and they are in the process of setting up our huge Pumpkinfest carnival...

WBKR's "The Run for Your Life" is coming up Friday night and our zombies are ready to chase runners through the dark city streets of Owensboro.  But there's one face you won't see in the crowd . . . Kizzy's!  And, she called The WBKR Waking Crew to tell Moon and Chad exactly why she would not be participating in the Zombie Run.  Listen!  This is hysterical!

9-year-old singer Skylar Cain is making quite a name for herself.  Over the summer she sang at the Nashville Palace during the CMA Music Festival.  She was a featured guest at WBKR's The Battle for the Big O finale and she's slated to sing at Pumpkinfest this coming weekend.  But how cool is this??  After recently placing 4th at a talent contest in Clarksville, TN, Skylar got an invitation to have
