There's a new show on TLC and the stars of it are from right here in the WBKR listening area.  Amy and Tammy Slaton, from Webster County, are the costars of the new series, 1000-LB Sisters.

The two sisters caught TLC's attention with their popular YouTube videos. In the premiere episode of the series, the sisters explain that those videos have netted them over 100,000 YouTube subscribers.  Now, they're starring in their own reality series, which will follow the two as they pursue gastric-bypass surgeries.

Amy and Tammy live in Dixon, Kentucky in Webster County.  In fact, if you tune into the show, you'll see places you'll likely recognize if you've ever driven through town or the county.  On the debut episode, the ladies visited S&S Salvage in Providence.  I watched the season premiere and found myself, a couple of times, saying, "Oh, I know where that is."  Or "Yeah, I've driven by that."

1000-lb Sisters debuted on New Year's Day.  New episodes air on Wednesdays at 9pm CST.
