Western Kentucky Veterans Raise Money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
St. Jude has long supported America's heroes, and now local veterans are stepping up to give back and support their lifesaving mission. This group is a tight-knit brotherhood and sisterhood that embodies the spirit of service and community. Today, they carry on that mission by supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, helping to ensure its critical work continues.
JAMES L. YATES AMERICAN LEGION POST 9 MAKES DONATION
Amazing veterans stopped by the WBKR Window World St. Jude Radiothon with a generous donation of $5,000. Their contribution will directly support children and families at St. Jude. They always give back to the community and we're so grateful to American Legion Post 9.
But, wait that's not all!
V.E.T. SUPPORTS ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL
When the team from V.E.T. learned about the St. Jude Radiothon, they immediately knew they wanted to contribute. They stepped up today to offer support and share their mission. Having experienced their hardships, they understand the struggles many face. For local veterans, active-duty military, and their families, V.E.T. provides crucial services to combat loneliness, and depression, and build resiliency. They're always ready to lend a hand, much like St. Jude does for its patients. We are deeply grateful for their unwavering service and sacrifice.
