Yet another reason why I freaking love Wonder Whip!   A couple of years ago, the popular drive-thru restaurant on the east side of Owensboro added Dole Whip to its menu and that addition was huge for business.  In fact, about once a month, Kevin and I still make a Wonder Whip run for dessert.

Today, Wonder Whip is rolling out its newest creation and I'm not sure there has ever been anything more "Fall."  Wonder Whip is now serving soft serve Salted Caramel Ice Cream and Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream.  And, if you're feeling really frisky, they're offering a "twist" version that's a combination of both. HO.LY. CR.AP.  LOL!

The Salted Caramel Ice Cream and Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream will be available in cups or cones.  And, Seth wants me to let you know that you could potentially, combine either flavor with chocolate or vanilla ice cream.

Wonder Whip is located 2434 East 4th Street and I am going to be broadcasting live there today from Noon to 2pm to celebrate the arrival of the new flavors of ice cream.

I am pretty pumped about it too.  I have been going to Wonder Whip since I was a kid.  In fact, I lived out in Thruston about two or three miles past the restaurant.  When I was driving myself to high school at Daviess County High, I used to stop at Wonder Whip on the way virtually every afternoon.

Well, guess what?  I am stopping there again today!  And, I'll be honest.  It's been a pretty great week for local pumpkin fans.  Just Wednesday, Jim Gilles at Hillview Farms Meats announced they're now baking pumpkin and pumpkin chocolate chip bread at the store.  I immediately drove there (right after my show ended) and picked up a loaf.

There are all sorts of Fall goodies available this year.  Keep scrolling and you'll see a bunch you can pick up in grocery stores near you.
