On Yesterday's Waking Crew Show Chad and I talked about New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg wanting to ban super-sized sugar soft drinks in the Big Apple. We had a Facebook Tad Poll to determine what you thought about it.

And, PETA is on a campaign to stop us from having our Kentucky Fried Chicken!

Now, here is what we need to do. There's a new book about Colonel Harlan Sanders coming out and it supposedly includes -- no, not the closely guarded secret blend of spices -- but, the personal recipes of the Colonel for omelettes, upside-down peach cobbler and potato pancakes and best of all --  his home-style biscuits too.

Protest PETA. Get ‘Colonel Harland Sanders: The Autobiography of the Original Celebrity Chef,’ which was written by Sanders in 1966 and discovered by accident more than 40 years later. If you  “like” KFC’s Facebook page starting Monday, you can download the online-only title for free.

According to our friends at theFW.com:

“This book, written in 1966, is about a man’s life and the food he’s cooked, eaten and served. That man is me. The food I’ve liked, the work I’ve done and the way I think are all the same things. It’s not such a farfetched idea. A lot of learned men think people really are the food they’ve eaten,” writes Sanders in the intro.

Now,  yesterday Miz Kizzy had some comments about the soda ban in NYC. Check her out.
