Cava Restaurant Unveils Wicked-themed Dining Experience

The anticipation is building to the release of Wicked: For Good.

WHEN WILL PART 2 OF WICKED BE RELEASED?

The second part of the big screen adaptation of Wicked is expected to 'defy gravity' in theatres on Friday, November 21st, 2025. That's the Friday before Thanksgiving and movies theatres across the country are expected to be packed with fans.

Universal Pictures released the official trailer about a month ago.

Part One of Wicked was a undoubtedly hit a this year's Oscars. The movie's stars- Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande- opened the ceremony with a mashup of songs from the Land of Oz. That medley included songs from the beloved classic The Wizard of Oz, The Wiz, and, of course, Wicked.

Wicked racked up ten Academy Award nominations and ended up taking home two trophies. The film won for Best Costume Design and Best Production Design. There's no arguing, as good as the movie sounded, it looked magical.

WICKED-THEMED RESTAURANT

Speaking of production design, there's a restaurant in the northeast that has careered that concept. Cava, a fine dining establishment in Southington, Connecticut, is not only known for its exquisite Italian-infused menu, it's known for incredibly artistic themed dining rooms. The restaurant savors food and fun.

A couple of months ago, to give guests a trip down the Yellow Brick Road straight into Oz, the restaurant unveiled its elaborate Wicked-themed dining experience. The restaurant spend months conceiving the project and having the installations for it built.

Cava's Oz Dining Experience remains open to guests. As you heard in the video, the initial plan was to keep the Wicked experience open until summer. I have a hunch it may 'ease on down the road' at least through November.
