On a couple of occasions, I've driven past Wild Eggs in Bowling Green. It's in a strip mall on a busy road, and I didn't feel like navigating over to it. Also, it was closed. Both times.

Wild Eggs

So I decided to make sure I went back when it was open, from 7:30 AM until 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday. It stays open until 2:30 PM on the weekends. It's worth planning a trip around that menu.

I got the Wild Western Omelet which comes with breakfast potatoes and a muffin. All breakfast entrees have those sides. Everything was amazing.

Well, unless you just need to go to Bowling Green, your Wild Eggs journey won't take as long in the near future, as a new location in Evansville is in the works, according to a post from Evansville 411 News.

Wild Eggs Coming to Evansville

There are plenty of breakfast choices on Evansville's east side, but I wouldn't be surprised if Wild Eggs dominates the morning conversation when it arrives. I expect it dominate the brunch and lunch conversations, as well. The company's website dubs its unique offerings an "elevated food experience."

I get it. The Wild Eggs menu features several categories and mouthwatering twists on traditional breakfast favorites. Do you like baked apples? At Wild Eggs, there's a great big one that's a shareable, and it is loaded. You'll also find breakfast lasagna and casseroles, not to mention their twist on the Kentucky Hot Brown.

Wild Eggs is making big moves in this part of the country; they're taking Lexington by storm, and now the proposed Evansville location.

I live in Owensboro, but I'm thinking I'll need to become a Weekend (Breakfast) Warrior in Evansville before too long.
