They’ve played packed nights in Owensboro and lit up stages in Louisville, but nothing quite like this. After years of building a name across the region, Yellow Banks just landed their biggest opportunity yet, and they’re bringing a whole lot of hometown pride with them!

A Big Moment in Nashville

Saturday afternoon in Nashville, the band took the stage at Whiskey Row as one of three finalists in the “Next Rising Star” competition. By the end of the event, they walked away with the win and a moment that feels like a turning point for the band.

Y’all, WE MADE IT!” they shared afterward, still soaking it all in.

The reaction said it all. This wasn’t just another gig. It was the big one!

Going up against artists like Karissa Ella and Makenzie Phipps, Yellow Banks stuck to what they do best. They opened the showcase with an energy-packed 20-minute set, proving right away why they were the hometown favorites.

If you’ve caught them at Friday After 5 or seen them light up Fourth Street Live!, you know they bring high energy, a tight sound, and the kind of performance that pulls people in.

It clearly worked over the weekend!

A Win the Whole Town Felt

One thing that stood out. This didn’t feel like just their win. Fans made the trip to Nashville to be there in person, and the support online came just as fast.

Of course you guys made it, you guys deserve it.” – Brittany Nicole

We definitely will be there to watch you all play!” – Tim Wheeler

And maybe the one that sums it up best:

Could not be happier for you guys!!! I’m beyond proud of the road you boys are on.” – Tammy L Parker

They’ve earned every bit of this!

The Superspeedway Stage Awaits

Now comes the really big stage.

With the win, Yellow Banks is set to perform the pre-race concert at Nashville Superspeedway ahead of the Cracker Barrel 400 on May 31.

We’re talking thousands of fans, a major event weekend, and a setting where industry folks, including label reps, are often paying attention.

Matt Greci, general manager of Nashville Superspeedway, put it perfectly:

We’re excited to give an up-and-coming artist the opportunity to perform in front of thousands of NASCAR fans… This contest embodies what our ‘High-Speed Honky Tonk’ is all about. We want to bring together the best of racing and entertainment here in Music City.”

Not just a big crowd, but a HUGE opportunity.

And They’re Not Going Alone

If Saturday proved anything, it’s that these guys aren’t doing any of this by themselves.

From the fans who made the trip to Nashville, to the comments pouring in online, to the people who’ve been showing up to their shows for years, Yellow Banks has a whole hometown riding with them.

And now? That hometown is headed to a stage at Nashville Superspeedway.
