You Can Order Boston Butts and Ribs to Support an Owensboro Charity
Townsquare Media Owensboro is getting ready to kick off its 2024 Yard Party season with a big one. Puzzle Pieces is hosting a huge cookout on the front lawn of the WBKR studios and they're teaming up with Jerry Morris and the Angels for Ashley Cooking Team to do it.
The Puzzle Pieces Yard Party, sponsored by Rhoads & Rhoads, is set for Friday, May 17th from 10am to 2pm and will feature a variety of Angels for Ashley meats!
According to Brittani Robertson, who's organizing the event, there will be a couple of lunch options the day of the cookout. There will be $7 lunches that include a Boston butt sandwich, chips and a drink for $7. There will also be lunches that include a hot dog, chips and drink for just $5.
In addition to box/sack lunches, Puzzle Pieces and the Angels for Ashley Cooking Team are also accepting preorders. If you're working at a local business and want to preorder lunch for your staff, you can do that. Clients of Puzzle Pieces will be making deliveries that day if you place an order of five lunches or more. You can coordinate that by emailing brittanirobertson@puzzle-pieces.org.
You can also preorder Boston butts and ribs, which will be smoked by Jerry Morris and his team. Boston butts will be available for $35. Full racks of ribs will be available for $25. Place your orders through Wednesday, May 15th.
To place your order, simply visit Puzzle-Pieces.org. Click on the STORE. You will see links for Boston butts and ribs and another for sandwich meals. Place your order accordingly.
The Puzzle Pieces Yard Party will take place rain or shine (we have a carport) at the WBKR studios at 3301 Frederica Street in Owensboro.
All proceeds will benefit Puzzle Pieces whose mission is to connect, empower and include.
