You Can Run or Walk the Run Run Rudolph 5K at Santa Claus Land of Lights

Here at WBKR, we are very excited about our brand new 5K event.  Run Run Rudolph will take place 4pm, Saturday, December 7th at the Santa Claus Land of Lights.  Yep!  We're going to be running through the classic story of Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and we're celebrating by giving our runners reindeer t-shirts, antlers and, of course, a very shiny nose!  But here's some good news for those of you who don't want to play in the reindeer game we call running.  LOL!  You can WALK the course!!

My aunt Roxie stopped by my house over the weekend and she asked me about this event.  She and my cousin Tia want to participate, but they don't want to run it and they were curious if walking the course is an option.  It most definitely is.  In fact, we are encouraging families to come out with their kids, strollers and more to walk through the beautiful Santa Claus Land of Lights and the story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.  And, if you sign up by November 9th, we'll hook YOU up with a t-shirt and reindeer goodies as well.

The fee for runners and walkers is just $20 per person through November 9th.  Then, the entry fee will be raised to $25.

Portions of proceeds from this event benefit the WBKR/WOMI Telecom Pioneers Christmas Wish program, which is celebrating its 37th year of making sure that every child in the tri-state gets a visit from Santa this Christmas!
