My husband sent me a link the other day to an announcement that a Norwegian cruise ship is hosting a nude cruise vacation. I'm not sure what he was trying to hint at! Of course, I laughed and gave him the side eye because there ain't no way that is happening for me.

However, if you are looking to plan a trip where you can pack light and leave the clothes at home, this may be just the thing for you. You'll just have to stock up on sunscreen so you don't end up with sunburned unmentionables!

The Big Nude Boat Cruise

This 11-day journey will begin February 3rd of 2025 and run for the first two weeks of the month. Departing from Miami, passengers will sail the Caribbean on the Norwegian Pearl, enjoy an excursion to a private island in the Bahamas. Other various exclusive stops and activities are on the itinerary before returning back to port in Florida February 14th. That's an interesting way to celebrate Valentine's Day for sure!

How Nude is This Cruise?

The travel group hosting the trip is Bare Necessities and they have strict guidelines for when clothing is enforced. Here's what their website says,

  1. While docked in port.
  2. In the main and specialty dining rooms.
  3. During the Captain’s reception/ introduction.
  4. When locals come aboard our smaller charters to perform.

For those times, casual wear is acceptable. Otherwise, folks are welcome to be nude morning, noon, and night! Passengers must follow proper nudist etiquette including sitting on towels while nude. There are also "no photo zones" for obvious reasons and no hanky-panky in public areas. No one under the age of 21 is allowed either.

How much is The Big Nude Boat Cruise?

Inside cabins start at $2,000 a room and range all the way up to $33,155 for a fancy three-bedroom villa.  Adventures on the various stops in the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, Dominica, Martinique and St. Lucia may require some additional fun money.

For more information, you can visit Bare Necessities Tour & Travel. They also have nude cruises later in the year that explore the beautiful Greek Isles.
