Airshow and World War II connoisseurs, make your plans to head to Bowling Green this Saturday to witness and to experience a piece of history.

The B-17 or "Flying Fortress" flew nearly 100 missions in World War II. This historic aircraft will be a the Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport this week and on Saturday, you can take a ride in it. The "Ye Olde Pub" nearly didn't make it home if it wasn't for a German pilot. It's only one of a dozen B-17s still flying the world.
