Cannelton Police Searching for Armed Kidnapping Suspect

Have you seen this man? Cannelton Police say he is an armed kidnapping suspect and is on the loose in the tri-state. And they need YOUR help to find him.

Authorities say the kidnapping happened late Thursday night and the suspect, 32-year-old Paul Lenz, is still on the loose and considered "armed and dangerous".

The alleged kidnapping occurred around 9:15pm Thursday night in the parking lot of a business on State Route 66.  Police say the suspect pulled a gun on the victim and forced him to drive him to Tell City. The victim was unharmed and eventually called police to report the crime.

Reports indicate that Mr. Lenz was last seen, on foot, in Hawesville, Kentucky near the Marathon gas station.  They believe that he has connections in Tennessee and could, quite possibly, be headed in that direction though they are uncertain of his intentions.
