Carsyn Gets Awesome Surprise From The Thunderbirds

The United States Air Force Thunderbirds are just the gift that keeps on giving! They were awesome in the Owensboro Air Show, showed great respect by dedicating their show to two fallen Tri-State soldiers and were more than welcoming to Chad when he had the pleasure of a flight ride-along with them in an F-16 and this last little thing is just the icing on the cake!

Carsyn's 1st grade class has a writing journal that they randomly write entries in throughout each month. I noticed when her August journal came home, her last entry was a picture of the Thunderbirds. Naturally, I thought it was precious, ha! I sent it to our public relations contact for them, as one last "Thank You" for them being here in town. Well, she thought it was precious too and said she wanted to send something special for Carsyn. I never expected this...

Wow! I was really thinking she was going to send me some stickers or pencils and that would have been great! But, this is something that Carsyn and I will treasure forever.
