The Battle for the Big O finale is coming up 7pm, Saturday, July 26th at Diamond Lake's Good Time Theatre and we really believe we have assembled our strongest Top 12 in the five year history of our annual talent search. And rounding out the line-up for the final will be The Valentears. The group's frontman, Daniel Carroll, showed up at our Show Me's of Owensboro audition and topped 19 other acts to earn a spot in the finale. Check out the version of "Strawberry Wine" that got him there. This is pretty cool!
All week long here at WBKR.com, we have been introducing you to the acts that have made the finals of the 2014 Battle for the Big O presented by Henderson Chevy Buick GMC. And we have two more left. Our auditions at The Boiler Room in Owensboro brought Aaron Pate and Kentucky Clear to the audition stage and they won the night with this performance. WATCH!

We have 12 amazing acts battling for $1,000 and the chance to open for Hank Williams Jr and the Charlie Daniels Band at the Liquid Ninja Big O Music Fest. Among the finalists is Ohio County's Adam Scott. Normally, Adam is on the road with the country music group Parmalee. (He's their merchandise guy). But, Adam's got chops of his own! Check this out. Not only is Adam a great singer; he's a great songwriter too. And at our Battle auditions in Beaver Dam he blew us away with an original song. This is sensational. WATCH!
