October 21, 2012 The 2012 WBKR Road War was Saturday night and hundreds turned out to try and win $1,000 in the "scariest road trip in town." Each year, the Road War sends our contestants on a wild and wholly goose chase through Owensboro-Daviess County and this year was no exception. But when the night came to its close, one team prevailed and the self-proclaimed BKR Babes (Jenelle Carter, Ada Willett, Cindy Kercheval, and Ronda Reynolds) missed the total mileage for the race by just one-tenth of a mile and claimed the $1,000 grand prize.
