We talked about everything... leather pants, moonshine, Tyler's jewelery obsession, BK laying around in his skibbies and I may have felt up one of their legs. Yes, I know every word of the Western Kentucky Hilltopper fight song! I am a PROUD WKU alum and am SO excited for our upcoming football season! The 2013 schedule was released today and it's a good 'en!

Western will face two SEC opponents in back-to-back weeks, two games at a NFL stadium, two nationally-televised games, an away game at Army and a home game against Navy.

I can't remember a year that I've been more excited for football on The Hill!

Chris Herrell is 39 years old and has been married to his wife Laurie for 15 years. Chris is an Owensboro High School and Kentucky Wesleyan College graduate. He and his wife have three young children. Chris works for the Cincinnati Reds and was recently diagnosed with Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS), a rare form of blood cancer.

His only cure is a bone marrow transplant. Presently, no donors in the bone marrow registry match Chris. A match must be found to save his life.

KWC is hosting a bone marrow registry drive in honor of Chris Thursday, February 28th and Saturday, March 2nd.
