Large twisters caused severe damage & multiple deaths in Kentucky and Indiana with reports of tennis ball size hail, damaging winds and many tornadoes touching the ground and causing widespread damage. Just today the National Weather Service issued 255 Tornado Warnings and 312 Severe Thunderstorm Warnings.
A powerful storm system that spawned several tornadoes ripped through parts of the Midwest early Wednesday morning, leaving millions of dollars of damage and at least 13 people dead in its wake. Early damage photos are showing that the devastation ranges from mild to severe.

February 12, 2012 I had the pleasure of seeing Whitney Houston in concert back in the early 90's. One of the legs of her I'm Your Baby Tonight Tour kicked off at Rupp Arena in Lexington. That was back in the day when you actually had to call Ticketmaster to get tickets. You couldn't get them online. Well, I happened to call the morning those tickets when on sale, RIGHT when they went on sale, and ended up snagging SECOND ROW seats. Needless to say, my friends and I had four of the best seats in the house for one of the best voices on the planet. That night, for those two hours, Whitney was well, Whitney. She was dramatic, she was funny, she was a diva, she was "the voice." And, when I shouted out from the second row and professed my profound love for her, she pointed at me and said back, "Thank you, Baby!" Yes, for a brief second, I was HER baby that night.
Whitney Houston, the legendary singer whose talent carried her to superstardom and whose tumultuous personal life ultimately put her under the pop culture microscope, died today at the age of 48.
