What’s Killing Us: Map Shows ‘Most Distinctive’ Causes of Death State by State

Well, this is depressing.  And it's alarming.  And you should read it.  The New York State Cancer Registry (in conjunction with the CDC) has just published a map that shows the "most distinctive" causes of death for each state in the nation.  Researchers Francis Boscoe, PhD and Eva Pradham, MPH studied deaths and the links/causes of those deaths from 2001 to 2010.  Here's a look at the map and what's killing us here in the tristate.
