For what it's worth, Johnny Manziel hasn't exactly made a splash in the NFL. That is until two weeks ago when Browns starter Brian Hoyer was pulled in the late stages of the Cleveland/Buffalo game in favor of the back-up, hyped up rookie. Although the Browns lost against Buffalo, Hoyer got the start again this past Sunday against the Colts and they lost by one. Now Coach Mike Pettine is finally turning the ball over to Johnny Football.

The hype of Manziel hasn't been the main reason he's been riding the bench. Hoyer has lead the team to a 7-6 record, and their playoff hopes are not lost yet. However, they need to win at least their next two games (they have three left) to ensure have a chance. Manziel was drafted much lower (first rd. no. 22) than he expected and other rookies QBs, including Teddy Bridgewater (Minnesota), Zach Mettenberger (Titans), Blake Bortles (Jacksonville), and Derek Carr (Oakland) have all started multiple games.

And since news broke about Manziel's start, Browns ticket sales have gone up 37 percent. The fans are getting an early Christmas present, maybe. Go get 'em Johnny Jamboogie!
