Looking for a great way to support local youth and enjoy a good show? Then check out The Performing Arts Academy of Daviess County High School and their performance of “Bye Bye Birdie”.

The show will run March 8th-10th in the DCHS auditorium. Performances on March 8th and 9th are at 7pm; the performance on the 10th is at 2pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.  The show is directed by Candy Miller, with pit orchestra directed by DuWayne Dale, and the show is choreographed by WBKR’s own Chad Benefield!

It is a great show you are sure to enjoy. Plus it is a great way to support the arts in our schools. And if you are not familiar with the show, it is a nostalgic musical that was inspired by the publicity and response when Elvis Presley was drafted into the Army in 1957.
