New Restaurant & Bakery Opens in Central City, Kentucky [MENU]

Central City continues to grow! Every time I make a trip to Muhlenberg County I'm surprised at all the new businesses and restaurants that have popped up. They have some of the most charming restaurants in the state. Small-town restaurants have a down-home feel, with homemade cooking at its finest. It's important to show them some love and eat "local". Here's a new one to try when traveling through Western Kentucky. Ye Ole Cafe' opened on May 8th, 2023.

YE OLE CAFE' OPENS IN CENTRAL CITY

Ye Ole Fairgrounds has been open for years offering an outdoor flea market on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and an indoor market with seasonal fruits, vegetables, jellies, candies, and more. They also host motocross and atv events. Now, they'll also offer a large variety of food items. The Ye Old Cafe' opened on May 8th, to serve foodies across Muhlenberg County!

The new restaurant offers seating on the original fairground flooring for 134 patrons. The bakery takes care of your sweet tooth by offering cake balls, cake pops, pies, cupcakes, cookies, and more. The restaurant offers ice cream by the scoop, tasty root beer floats, and creamsicle floats. How do mini chicken tacos, corn meal style breaded catfish, sweet potato waffle fries, or a burger sound? Ye Ole Fairgrounds is a fun place to plan a special event. They have live bands on Tuesdays and Saturdays starting at 7 PM. Thursday is Karaoke night starting at 6 PM. There's a jukebox to keep the music going in between. There are pool tables on site, and many skill games if you're feeling lucky.
