Military & Veterans Appreciation Night slated for Thursday (Feb. 13) at USI

The University of Southern Indiana is honoring members of the United States Armed Forces with Military and Veterans Appreciation Night Thursday evening when the Screaming Eagles host Maryville University for a GLVC men's and women's basketball doubleheader. Game time for the women's game is 5:15 p.m., while the men's contest is slated for 7:30 p.m.
Free tickets will be given to veterans and military personnel at the game who show proof of service at the time of pick up.
Veterans and military personnel also can purchase tickets for family members at a special price of $5 each. These tickets must be purchased when the service members picks up their complimentary ticket.
Also on Thursday, USI Athletics and the Heart Hospital at Deaconess are partnering to promote heart disease awareness. Eagle fans are encouraged to wear red to show their support for this national initiative.
