The Owensboro funeral service for former United States Senator and Kentucky Governor Wendell Ford is scheduled for Tuesday morning, 11AM at First Baptist Church. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home until 7PM Monday evening and after 10AM at the church.

State Representative Tommy Thompson has confirmed that former President Bill Clinton will be attending the funeral Tuesday.

We've also just learned that Vice-President Joe Biden will be in attendance, as well.

This news comes as no surprise to me considering the longtime friendship President Clinton had with Senator Ford and the considerable amount of time Vice-President Biden spent working alongside him when he was a senator.
