George Jones Is Retiring!
That’s right – “The Possum” George Jones just announced that 2013 is going to be his “Grand Tour!” He has planned to visit 60 cities next year and release a studio album, which may feature songs written by country legend Dolly Parton.
In George’s remarkable career he has had 13 #1 hits and charted 143 Top 40 singles – only Eddy Arnold has charted more singles.
George says he wants to spend more time with his family, especially his wife, children & grandchildren.
