Hartford Harvest Festival October 23-24

When I was in high school, it was called "Octoberfest" and the Ohio Co. Marching Band participated in the morning parade before we set out for our contest(s) for that Saturday. The Hartford Harvest Festival is the same event, but many activities have been added over the years. It's coming up this Friday (10/23) and Saturday (10/24) in downtown Hartford.

On Friday night, it's Kids' Night at the festival:

6:45p-Costume Judging

7:00p-School Writing Contest Awards

7:30p-Bluegrass Kids Concert

8:30p-KARAOKE!

Saturday, October 24 Events:

6:30a-7:30a- 5K registrations

8:00a-Harvest 5K

10:00a-PARADE

12:00p-Cake Walk (!!!)

2:00p-Pedal Tractor Pull

3:00p-Pageant

3:00p-More Cake Walk

4:00p-Live Music: Tony Geary

6:00p-Live Music: Country Beavers

8:00p-Live Music: Redeemed

There will also be bounce houses, a balloon artist, hayrides (12p-2:20p & 4:30p-?), face painting, raffles, bingo, oh and plenty of food!
